Program Curriculum

The Acupuncture Program is taught over 9 trimesters, with all studies centered on preparing
the student for a professional career in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

Year 1:

Build a foundation by learning the basic of substance production
and flow; studying the structures and functions of the body systems
both western and eastern.

Year 2:

Expand understanding of diagnostic techniques and continue the
study of how the body functions. Apply these techniques and
understanding of concepts to patients in the student clinic setting.

Year 3:

Develop and strengthen knowledge of Acupuncture with a Chinese
Herbal Medicine and western diagnostic techniques. Students will
practice these concepts treating patients in the student clinic.

Attendance Policy

Students are allowed to miss up to
two classes per course per trimester

Students are evaluated after each and
must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
