600 Hour Basic Esthetics Program

Curriculum

Program Curriculum

The Basic Esthetics Program is taught in eight parts, with all studies centered on preparing the student for a professional career in beauty and skincare.

These parts include:

  • Orientation and Business (25 hours)
  • Laws and Regulations (10 hours)
  • General Sciences (80 hours)
  • Applied Sciences (95 hours)
  • Skin Care (255 hours)
  • Makeup (65 hours)
  • Body and Other Treatments (20 hours)
  • Hair Removal (50 hours)

Student Practicum Clinic (220 Sessions)

Students must also complete 220 sessions of practicum inside of various different treatments and therapeutics.

Attendance Policy

A student is allowed a total of 60 hours of missed class time including in person and online.

Academic Policy

Students are given evaluation after 300 scheduled hours.

Needed Supplies

  • Six white, flat twin sheets
  • Approximately 20 white hand towels
  • 10 gallon clear plastic container w/lid
  • Mannequin head
  • Index cards
  • 2 sets of white medical scrubs
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • 2 Velcro spa wraps
  • Nail kit
