Leslie is a 2011 graduate of Lotus Professional College (American Institute of Massage at that time) and has been licensed and practicing Massage and Bodywork ever since.
Immediately after graduation she began studying John Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR). She then relocated to Franklin, TN with her family and cats where she practiced Massage and MFR in West Nashville. After moving with her family back to RVA and adopting a hound to go along with the cats, she realized her heart and hands needed to make the transition to solely practicing MFR.
In 2021 she ventured out on her own opening Leslie Mueller Myofascial Release in Hanover, VA. She specializes in helping people with chronic and unexplained pain become pain free and return to the activities they love.
Leslie has a BFA in Metalsmithing from VCU in Richmond, VA and believes that working with metal is a process strikingly similar to MFR. Over the years she has taught children with special needs, as well as working professionals. She greatly enjoys working with the students in the weekly Clinic, especially the process of watching them transition from students to peers. When she’s not working in her own practice treating clients or supervising a Student Clinic, she is ideally connecting with the natural world in some way, in a continuing education class or discovering new music compliments of her teenage son.
